Wednesday morning, I was honored to appear on CBS’ KMOX 1120 AM radio in St. Louis. As a boy growing up in Ferguson, Missouri, I listened to Harry Caray and Jack Buck call Cardinal baseball games on the station often referred to as “The Voice of St. Louis.”

I was interviewed by someone who is another important voice in St. Louis, Charlie Brennan, host of KMOX’s morning show. Charlie has long been a figure in the St. Louis community who is very passionate about the city and has lent his support to many initiatives to make it a better place to live.

This interview was a tremendous opportunity to talk about our book Everybody Matters and our leadership journey in the town where Barry-Wehmiller was born. Despite growing into a $2+ billion company with over 11,000 team members worldwide, we’ve never forgotten our history and our start here as a small company building bottle washers and pasteurizers for the brewing industry.

My discussion with Charlie touches on that history and how those lessons in business help us develop our principles of Truly Human Leadership. You can hear the program in full here.
