Barry-Wehmiller is featured in the May issue of Inc. magazine as one of its “Most Audacious Companies” in the area of culture.

When we asked Scott Leibs, an executive editor with Inc. who interviewed me for the article, why they chose the word audacious, he said it was carefully chosen to emphasize companies “not afraid to do things truly differently.”

Scott said they consider those organizations which are “relentlessly opposed to the status quo. We admire success in all its forms, but there is something particularly exciting and noteworthy when a company is willing to go against the grain, motivated by a genuine desire to make a difference.”

We are definitely not afraid to do things differently. And we definitely intend to make a difference. Thanks to Inc. for recognizing that. Time for the world to do the same.
