This episode of our podcast features a little bit of talk about listening.

Author and “pro-activist,” Lynne Twist is our guest this week. For decades, Lynne has worked to alleviate poverty and hunger and supported social justice and environmental sustainability. Her tenure as chief fundraising officer for The Hunger Project is among her many accomplishments, for whom she helped raise over 200 million dollars.

Lynne’s bestselling book Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship With Money and Life helps others look differently at money and consider conscious philanthropy as a way to find fulfillment. She’s been a featured speaker at a number of TEDx events, including TEDx Wall Street

BW CEO Bob Chapman met Lynne when they both spoke at the Success 3.0 Summit in Boulder, Co. He invited her to come to St. Louis and attend one of Barry-Wehmiller’s Communications Skills classes. You'll hear her talk to BW team members about her work, and then later, she spoke to Mary Rudder on the importance of empathetic listening.
