At Barry-Wehmiller, we want our people to go home every day feeling fulfilled and not frustrated. And when we accomplish that, our people go home better parents, siblings, sons and daughters and through that, they contribute to making the world a better place.

Chris Reimer, a St. Louis-based author and speaker, has written a book about a workplace where that does not happen. Happywork is a business parable that illustrates the negative effects our workplaces can have on the lives of their people and why good leadership is so important.

On this week’s episode of the Everybody Matters podcast, Chris talks about how he came to write his book, but has a larger discussion of what a “happywork” place really entails.
