ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Sept. 1, 2016 – Pack Expo 2016 will mark the debut of a new initiative by global packaging leader Barry-Wehmiller.

BW Packaging Solutions encompasses a number of Barry-Wehmiller businesses – Accraply, BW Container Systems, Design Group, Hayssen Flexible Systems, Paper Converting Machine Company, Pneumatic Scale Angelus, Synerlink and Thiele Technologies – all respected names in primary and secondary packaging, material handling, process and inspection, labeling, and line design and integration.

Barry-Wehmiller and BW Packaging Solutions will be located at Booth S-2100 at Pack Expo 2016.

“We want our customers to know that whether you come to one of our companies for a single piece of equipment or for the design and installation of a fully integrated line, through our collective capabilities we can deliver a tailor-made solution to solve your unique packaging challenges,” said Carol O’Neill, Barry-Wehmiller Vice-President of Strategy, Technology and Key Initiatives.

Each BW Packaging Solutions business – and their corresponding brands – has a long, rich legacy in their respective spaces with global sales and service. Through their combined reach, BW Packaging Solutions is able to provide services to a wide range of industries, including: food and beverage, personal care, container manufacturing, pharmaceutical and medical devices, household products, paper products and textiles, industrial and automotive, and converting, printing and publishing.

Mike May, President of Hayssen Flexible Systems, said that partnering with BW Packaging Solutions also means you’ll tap into a network of innovative ideas about scoping your project, process optimization, plant design and more.

“Our combined expertise and creative thinking sets our customers apart from their competition,” May said. “BW Packaging Solutions is the names you know and the service you trust, multiplied.”

Attendees at Pack Expo 2016 will have an opportunity to experience the breadth and expertise of BW Packaging Solutions firsthand during a “Packaging Challenge” forum. Customers are invited to submit their issues or questions in advance for a panel of BW Packaging Solutions experts to discuss at the show. Barry-Wehmiller CEO and Chairman Bob Chapman will join the BW Packaging Solutions team in the booth to sign copies of his Wall-Street Journal bestselling book, Everybody Matters: The Extraordinary Power of Caring For Your People Like Family. Chapman will also host an invitation-only screening of the award-winning documentary based on his book, co-authored with Conscious Capitalism Co-Founder Raj Sisodia.

“At Barry-Wehmiller, we measure success by the way we touch the lives of people,” Chapman said. “Not only does that mean our team members and their families, but also every stakeholder in our business, including our customers. BW Packaging Solutions is one of the ways we are working harder than ever to better serve and build customer trust.”
