GREEN BAY, Wis. — Oct. 19, 2026 — BW Converting will showcase a portfolio of Baldwin print inspection technologies at LOUPE India 2026, held Oct. 29–Nov. 1 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, India. Visitors to Booth D10 will have an opportunity to explore inspection technologies designed to help label and packaging converters automate quality control, identify defects earlier in the production process, reduce waste, and operate more efficiently.
Featured technologies will include the Guardian PQV 100% Print Inspection System and OLP offline proofing technology, giving visitors a look at inspection capabilities spanning pre-production verification, real-time production monitoring, and 100% print inspection. BW Converting’s team will also be available to discuss the Defender® View web viewing and inspection system, which will be promoted at the show.
As label and packaging production becomes more complex, converters are being asked to manage shorter runs, more frequent job changes, increasingly sophisticated graphics, and stringent customer quality requirements. At the same time, experienced press operators remain a valuable and often limited resource. BW Converting’s inspection technologies use automation and intuitive operator interfaces to reduce dependence on manual inspection while providing production teams with actionable information about print quality.
The Guardian PQV system provides 100% inspection of printed output, combining automated setup with real-time defect detection and reporting. Its Wizard-iQ interface simplifies job setup and gives operators centralized access to job data, sensitivity settings, lighting, barcode, and color controls. Automated Delta-E color monitoring, barcode recognition, object-based inspection, and live defect mapping further reduce the manual intervention required to establish and maintain inspection parameters.
For converters producing increasingly varied job mixes, PQV can also support automated workflows through PDF-based job setup and job recognition. Inspection projects can be prepared ahead of production, helping reduce setup requirements when jobs change and supporting flexographic, digital, and hybrid production environments. OLP and Defender® View complement these capabilities with tools for offline proofing and real-time web viewing, giving converters additional ways to identify print discrepancies and monitor production quality throughout the workflow.
“Label and packaging converters are being asked to manage increasingly complex production requirements while maintaining stringent quality standards,” said Raj Rana, Regional Sales Manager, BW Converting. “Inspection technology has evolved to help them do that with greater automation and less operator intervention. By identifying quality issues earlier and giving operators better information about what is happening on press, these systems can help converters reduce waste and deliver more consistent output.”
Together, the technologies featured at LOUPE India demonstrate how inspection can move beyond its traditional role as a final quality-control checkpoint and become part of a connected production workflow. By identifying problems earlier and giving operators better information about where and why defects occur, converters can make faster production decisions and minimize unnecessary waste and reruns.
