GREEN BAY, Wis. — April 19, 2018 — Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), part of Barry-Wehmiller, is pleased to announce that Prestige-Pak Inc. of Fond du Lac has successfully installed a new Fusion C flexographic press. The second-generation, family-owned business, and producer of printed and laminated flexible packaging materials for the bakery, cheese, confectionary, dry goods, medical, pet food and snack food industries, is marking its milestone 50th anniversary with the addition of this new press.

“We’re very excited about our new Fusion C press,” said Vince Kuber, President of Prestige-Pak. “With the installation of this new press and its technology, we will be able to better meet our customers’ requirements in the future.”

The reliable Fusion C is loaded with fast make-ready and waste-saving features, and has a smaller footprint and fewer parts—saving space and cost. Its accessibility and ease of use make the Fusion C a unique offering in the market.

Prestige-Pak’s vision of excellence and customer satisfaction includes state-of-the-art equipment, preferred vendor affiliations, rigid industry certification and environmental stewardship. The addition of the Fusion C effectively supports this vision.

“The design of this press really takes into consideration safety and other stringent requirements—making it far superior for food packaging,” said Kuber. “Working with PCMC has always been a great partnership. PCMC takes the time to learn the industry from customers, and because of that, we get great products and service from them.”

“It’s a privilege for PCMC to continue to be able to grow with Prestige-Pak,” said Jason Beauleau, Sales Engineer, PCMC. “We’re honored to be part of a fellow local company growing its business and celebrating a significant operational milestone.”
