Director of Communications
As Director of Communications, Mary leads a team focused on increasing awareness of the Barry-Wehmiller family of brands and advancing Barry-Wehmiller's message about the powerful harmony of good business practices and good people practices. Central to that strategy is a multichannel content campaign that positions CEO Bob Chapman as a thought leader and Barry-Wehmiller as an organization on the forefront of culture transformation.
Additionally, the team works closely with the Communications Directors of each of Barry-Wehmiller's businesses to ensure a cohesive message that reinforces our innovative, people-centric and, customer-centric focus and the value that Barry-Wehmiller offers its customers through its business platforms and solutions.
The Communications team also supports internal communications efforts by creating high impact campaigns that help team members feel connected, engaged, and knowledgeable about the business, their roles and their opportunities.
Mary brings many years of experience in writing, editing, communications and marketing to the Communications Director role. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
