BW Outreach university partner honors BW CEO Bob Chapman

Gonzaga University recently established “Chapman Leadership Week,” a week of activities to develop leaders through Truly Human Leadership principles, to proceed annually each fall. Leadership Week's anchor event, previously called the Aram Lecture, is a public lecture that has also been retitled to honor Bob Chapman, who delivered the lecture in 2022. Bob and the BW Outreach team will return to Gonzaga in October for a commemorative ceremony. Alliance adopts two companies for conveying and material handling 

Alliance Machine Systems International (Alliance), a global manufacturing leader of automated paperboard packaging equipment for the production of corrugated boxes, has acquired Systec Corporation, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN (US), and Automatan, LLC, headquartered in Plover, WI (US). This strategic alignment will enhance production efficiency and quality of paperboard packaging automation and material handling solutions for the corrugated and folding carton industries.

BW Papersystems hosts global customers to showcase innovations

BW Papersystems (BWP) recently hosted two customer events to showcase their latest innovations and live machine demos. The Baltimore, MD (US) event featured the FlexPro Flexo Folder Gluer, BWP's newest offering in the finishing space that now allows them to compete in a $300M market. The Baltimore event welcomed over 60 guests from 18 companies. The Hamburg, Germany event featured the ServoPro Rotary Die Cutter as a part of a complete line solution. The Hamburg event hosted 30 guests from nine countries.

CARR team supports local Florida community outreach efforts

During CARR Biosystems' annual meeting celebration in Clearwater, FL (US), the team organized charitable donations for Pinellas Hope, a program providing services and shelter for homeless in the area, to support those impacted by the hurricanes this past fall. Joel Williams, CARR President shared, "Caring for people in ways that truly matter is the culture we aspire to. But when a crisis gives us the chance to turn that care into action, it becomes something even more powerful. This hurricane tested us, but in the end, it made us stronger, together."

BW University celebrated a major milestone with the launch of its first Culture of Service course conducted entirely in Italian—taught and organized by Daniela Molluso, BW

You can now snooze KACE software reboot notifications up to four times

When a security patch is deployed, you may receive a pop-up notification from KACE prompting you to reboot your computer. Previously, you were only allowed to snooze KACE’s reboot command two times, for up to two hours each time. The snooze option will now be available up to four times, for up to two hours each time, which makes it possible for you to defer the reboot for up to eight hours. Click here for full instructions.
