DUNCAN, S.C. — Oct. 24, 2016 — Hayssen Flexible Systems — part of the Barry-Wehmiller family, and a dominant player in the candy, nut, bakery, snack food, frozen food, fresh produce and cheese industries — will present key innovative solutions at the Gulfood Manufacturing trade show, held Nov. 7-9, 2016, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The KayDee Solutions stand (B3-32) will include Hayssen’s Merlin Blu flow wrapper and Novus 350 continuous motion bagger, and the AltroniX Solutions stand (F1-12) will host a Hayssen display as well.
From the Rose Forgrove line, the Merlin Blu flow wrapper (pictured, left) has a hygienic design suitable for a wide range of challenging industries. With tool-less removal of guarding, the Merlin offers easy access for cleaning. Its sloped tops and rounded legs minimize debris buildup, plus, a “no product, no bag” feature minimizes film waste.
Also shown in the KayDee Solutions stand, the Novus 350 continuous motion bagger has a slim-line footprint to save valuable floor space, and the fully enclosed stainless steel construction offers environmental protection. Available in 250, 350 and 380 models, all of which have modular assemblies for quick changeover and improved accessibility, the Novus has the ability to run at various speeds and accommodate a variety of bag styles, with full configuration available for polyethylene or heat seal applications.
