Thank you to everyone who participated in the Every Voice Matters culture assessment. We reached 75% participation, receiving responses from 6,761 team members! Over the last four weeks, The Leadership Effect team has been analyzing the feedback submitted and is preparing recommendations for each of our organizations—nearly 100 total reports!

In March, The Leadership Effect team will meet with leaders from every organization to discuss the findings and suggest action steps. Team members will continue to receive updates throughout the process and can expect to learn more about the results over the next several months.

Packaging World highlights BWIS' all-electric palletizer

Packaging World, the world's leading media brand targeting packaging professionals,

recently highlighted BW Integrated Systems' (BWIS) new mid-speed, 100% electric case palletizer, Maximus. Earl Wohlrab, BWIS Director of Innovation Engineering, explains the system is "suited to meet changing needs for smaller case sizes" and that "it is probably the first 100% electric machine, including the options." He said, "some companies have said their machines were all electric, but they still needed air for case stops or other functions. We use electric actuation for everything.”

Recently, STAX Technologies, part of the BW Converting Solutions platform and market leader in the tissue packaging equipment industry, showed off the wide-range of tissue capabilities during the Paper One Show, the premier international paper exhibition dedicated to all kinds of paper and paper manufacturing in the Middle East/North Africa region. STAX team members (l. to r. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Marjorie E. Chapman Memorial College Scholarships applications are open—due April 15!

Marjorie E. Chapman, the late mother of CEO Bob Chapman, attended college thanks to a local banker in her Iowa (US) hometown. Now, she is making college scholarships a reality for many current BW team members’ dependent children. Since beginning in 2019, $775,000 has been awarded. In the 2022-2023 academic year alone, the program awarded 10 new scholarships and 28 renewable scholarships, totaling over $200,000. Applications are due Saturday, April 15.
