BW names first-ever Organizational Development & Inclusion Leader

Barry-Wehmiller is pleased to announce Chyna Bowen has joined BW as the first-ever Organizational Development and Inclusion Leader. In this new role, Chyna will partner in the design and deployment of an enterprise-wide Inclusion strategy, integrated into our ongoing cultural programs. She will focus on driving toward consistency of cultural spirit that enables every team member to have equitable access to our culture and create an environment of belonging.

Bala Dhanasekaran joins BWP as Dir. of Global Engineering, Finishing

Balakrishna (Bala) Dhanasekaran has joined BW Papersystems (BWP) as the Director of Global Engineering–Finishing. Bala, who most recently was a Director at Design Group, will lead the global engineering teams for finishing product lines in Baltimore, MD (US), Hamburg, Germany and Bologna, Italy to develop new and maintain current products for the corrugated board finishing market. He will use Design for Excellence techniques with a collaborative team approach to achieve cost, performance and lead-time goals and lean product developm-ent tools, processes and visual management to develop and launch new products.

High Five Recognition: Mike Toscano of Design Group-Concord

Pneumatic Scale Angelus takes home top honors at BW Packaging's Innovation Showcase

Last month, Pneumatic Scale Angelus (PSA) team members from around the world attended BW Packaging's Annual Innovation Event in Minneapolis, MN (US). During the '22/'23 Innovation Showcase portion of the event, which spotlights the top innovation processes and projects from across all five BW divisions and the packaging platform, PSA took home top honors.
