NEW TECH TIP

Work-related files that aren't saved in Desktop, Documents or Pictures folders should be moved there

When you create or save a file, by default Windows saves it to one of three folders: Desktop, Documents or Pictures. You can see these folders in File Explorer, directly under “Quick Access” in the left-hand navigation. Files saved here are synchronized between your computer and OneDrive, so they are always backed up, protected and available on any device. If you’ve been choosing a place to save your work files (for instance, on the C drive), thus bypassing default save, please move your work-related files out of the non-syncing folders to the Desktop, Documents, or Pictures folders. If you need assistance, please contact the IT Service Desk.
