BW Forsyth Partners’ Cor Partners (Cor), the parent company of Eberl Claims Service, Engle Martin and Envista Forensics, which collectively serve the insurance, risk management and legal communities, has acquired DBI Construction Consultants (DBI), BW's 128th acquisition. DBI is a leading national provider of building and construction consulting services based in New York, NY (US) and will become the fourth division of Cor focusing on building and construction consulting.

Taylor Corporation enhances productivity with Accraply seamer

Taylor Corporation (Taylor), a 115-year-old print solutions manufacturer, saw growing demand for larger shrink sleeve packaging, specifically for bundling wrap. So much so, Taylor's labels and packaging division needed to to scale up their operations. Tony Smith, a Production Engineer at Taylor said, "We were really in a situation where we needed to add capacity to continue to grow our business at the levels we wanted to, and to be able to support our customers at the levels they expect." That's when Accraply, a long-time partner, stepped in with a solution!

Saudi Arabia-based Al Medan makes multiple BWP machine investment

Al-Medan Project Factory for Carton (Al-Medan) recently placed a multiple-machine order with BW Papersystems (BWP). Al-Medan is a leader of corrugated packaging in Saudi Arabia, producer of corrugated packaging solutions throughout the Arabian peninsula and neighboring countries. “This order comes as part of our development strategy that we began back in 2016,” explains Mosad Ewais, General Manager, Al Medan. “We installed new BWP corrugator and converting lines in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021, and we look forward to installing this additional corrugator in the spring and the new converting line over the summer.”

Earlier this month, a group of female Design Group Professionals from the Portland, OR (US) and Bellingham, WA (US) offices attended a WE Local conference in Seattle, WA (US). WE Local conferences take place around the world and are organized by the Society of Women Engineers to bring together participants in all stages of their collegiate and professional careers. The conference provided an opportunity to learn from dozens of women in engineering. Topics presented ranged from navigating leadership, managing organizational culture, becoming a subject-matter expert, overcoming failures and more.

To help team members answer common questions quickly, the IT Service Desk (ITSD) has created a Self Help Menu. This set of documents is easy to access—even offline!—because it lives live locally on your computer. To access it, go to the bottom right corner of your screen and click the upward arrow to see your entire system tray. Right click the KACE icon, which is a gray K in a circle (it will have either a green checkmark or a blue exclamation point on top) and go to Shortcuts>IT Service Self-Help Menu.
